sydney's hope
Instead of trying to message you both from FB, I thought I would use this space to communicate about the fundraising project that I am working on. You will only be able to access this page from the url that I sent as I am not publishing to the public right now. It felt like the easiest way to move forward with this. Once it goes live, it will appear on the menu above - probably after the "OLGC Home"
I finally got the beads in that I was waiting for and started to create a necklace. The heart was smaller than I expected so I decided to use a rosary connector since your faith is such a strong part of your marriage. The Erie Diocese contacted me quite a few years ago and asked if I would like some rosary findings. I haven't used them to date since they are bronze and I don't really work with bronze. I thought they would be beautiful for this purpose.
I am thinking about creating 2 designs to start and will make 5 of each design. It will give me an idea what people are interested in. Sydney, feel free to jump in with any suggestions! I purchased 40 heart pendants so I could do earrings as well. Any ideas will be welcome! I am also looking for suggestions about pricing - cost of materials/time would be under $10 per necklace. Obviously I would like to raise as much as I can to support your cause but do not want to overprice as well.
Once I get decent pictures of the necklaces, I can post. Phil, if you want to draft a narrative for the page and I will also have a link to your "gofundme" page. I could also give you access to the page as an editor so you can work on this together.
